The work Inspiration by Marcin Maciejowski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,965.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Marcin Maciejowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picasso'S Boy With Pipe in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 99,646.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Inspiration von Marcin Maciejowski kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.965,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcin Maciejowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picasso'S Boy With Pipe im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 99.646,17).
