In November 2008 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work "Tramonto Sul Mare" Sul Mare Al Tramonto by Marcello Jori. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,750.00 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, "Tramonto Sul Mare" Sul Mare Al Tramonto is even the most expensive work of art by Marcello Jori that we have observed at auctions so far.
