Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York, which included the work Four works: (i-iv) Untitled by Marcel Dzama. The price achieved of USD 4,445.00 (€ 4,018.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Dzama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,462.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four works: (i-iv) Untitled von Marcel Dzama zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.445,00 (€ 4.018,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Dzama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.462,71).
