The work The Troubadour by Marcel Brunery was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in February 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,985.07), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Brunery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French The Late Fiancé in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 48,316.25).

Die Arbeit The Troubadour von Marcel Brunery wurde im Februar 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.985,07) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Brunery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French The Late Fiancé im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 48.316,25).
