Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings Sale, which included the work Venus Observing The Sleeping Adonis With Nymphs And Putti by Marcantonio Franceschini. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,290.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcantonio Franceschini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lot And His Daughters in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 368,750.00 (€ 414,974.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus Observing The Sleeping Adonis With Nymphs And Putti von Marcantonio Franceschini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 16.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.290,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcantonio Franceschini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lot And His Daughters im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 368.750,00 (€ 414.974,11).
