In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Noli Me Tangere by Marcantonio Franceschini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,250.00 (€ 70,655.62), 72% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marcantonio Franceschini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lot And His Daughters in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 368,750.00 (€ 414,974.11).

Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Noli Me Tangere von Marcantonio Franceschini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.250,00 (€ 70.655,62) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcantonio Franceschini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lot And His Daughters im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 368.750,00 (€ 414.974,11).
