Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Works on Paper, which included the work Study Of An Angel Flying To The Right Holding A Torch by Marcantonio Franceschini. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,096.59). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcantonio Franceschini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lot And His Daughters in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 368,750.00 (€ 414,974.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study Of An Angel Flying To The Right Holding A Torch von Marcantonio Franceschini zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.096,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcantonio Franceschini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lot And His Daughters im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 368.750,00 (€ 414.974,11).
