Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Rouge, 1951 by Marc Janson was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 893.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Janson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 1,802.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Rouge, 1951 von Marc Janson kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 893,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Janson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 1.802,00 versteigert wurde.
