The work A L'Echappee, 1970 by Marc Janson was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,148.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Marc Janson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2012 the work Au Bruit Du Soleil/A Ces Palais Absents, Circa 1980 was auctioned for EUR 1,802.00.
