A top price for Marc du Plantier - as previously expected
The work A Rare and Important 'Lotus' Console by Marc du Plantier was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2019. The price achieved of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 261,150.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Rare and Important 'Lotus' Console is the most expensive artwork by Marc du Plantier that we have observed at auctions so far.
