The work L'Arbre Rouge by Marc Chagall was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2006. It achieved a price of USD 262,400.00 (€ 204,472.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).

Die Arbeit L'Arbre Rouge von Marc Chagall kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 262.400,00 (€ 204.472,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
