Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Marc Cavell was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Cavell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,528.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Marc Cavell kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Cavell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.528,96) versteigert wurde.
