Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Manuel Viola was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The price achieved of EUR 1,015.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel Viola have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sin Título in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 10,157.50.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manuel Viola wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.015,75 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Viola auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sin Título im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.157,50.
