The work Arriba by Manuel Viola was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in March 2007. It achieved a price of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,306.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuel Viola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sin Título, which sold at auction in October 2004 for EUR 10,157.50.

Die Arbeit Arriba von Manuel Viola wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.306,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuel Viola mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sin Título beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für EUR 10.157,50 versteigert wurde.
