Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Manuel Viola was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,250.00 (€ 801.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Viola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sin Título in October 2004 with an auction result of EUR 10,157.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manuel Viola wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.250,00 (€ 801,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Viola erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sin Título im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.157,50.
