Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in New York held the auction LATIN AMERICAN ART, which included the work Mujeres en blanco by Manuel Rodríguez Lozano. The price achieved of USD 28,200.00 (€ 31,480.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel Rodríguez Lozano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fatigados in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 163,794.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion LATIN AMERICAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujeres en blanco von Manuel Rodríguez Lozano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 28.200,00 (€ 31.480,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Rodríguez Lozano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fatigados im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 163.794,74).
