Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Farewell by Manuel Rodríguez Lozano for USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,201.18). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Rodríguez Lozano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fatigados in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 173,000.00 (€ 163,794.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farewell von Manuel Rodríguez Lozano für USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.201,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Rodríguez Lozano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fatigados im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 163.794,74).
