In May 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Constructivo sur by Manuel Pailós. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,800.00 (€ 6,316.30), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manuel Pailós achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,142.43).

Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Constructivo sur von Manuel Pailós zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.800,00 (€ 6.316,30) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manuel Pailós erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.142,43).
