Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Constructivo Con Pez Y Barco by Manuel Pailós was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,158.29). Admittedly, works by Manuel Pailós have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 86,500.00 (€ 68,142.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Constructivo Con Pez Y Barco von Manuel Pailós kam im Mai 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.158,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Pailós auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 68.142,43).
