Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Manuel Mendive was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,857.72). Admittedly, works by Manuel Mendive have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Energías para el amor y la bondad in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 111,249.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Manuel Mendive kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.857,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel Mendive auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Energías para el amor y la bondad im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 111.249,56).
