A top price for Manishi Dey - as previously expected
In March 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Daughter Of The Soil by Manishi Dey. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,938.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Daughter Of The Soil is the most expensive artwork by Manishi Dey that we have observed at auctions so far.
