Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Trois Fleurs by Malcolm de Chazal for GBP 250.00 (€ 339.71). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Malcolm de Chazal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois Ananas in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,206.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trois Fleurs von Malcolm de Chazal für GBP 250,00 (€ 339,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Malcolm de Chazal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois Ananas im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.206,00.
