Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Malcolm de Chazal could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work La Maison changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 339.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Malcolm de Chazal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois Ananas in February 2007 with an auction result of EUR 3,206.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Malcolm de Chazal konnte im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit La Maison für GBP 250,00 (€ 339,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Malcolm de Chazal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois Ananas im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.206,00.
