A top price for Maximilian Alexandrovich Voloshin
When the work Three Crimean landscapes by Maximilian Alexandrovich Voloshin was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 5,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71). This high result makes Three Crimean landscapes the most expensive artwork by Maximilian Alexandrovich Voloshin that we have observed at auctions so far.
