A large square-shaped embossed woodblock print, titled Work, 74-58 (Stone-S), edition number 1/106, signed in Roman script Haku Maki in pencil along the lower margin, with a seal Maki Haku within the image. 43.5cm x 43.7cm (17 1/8in x 17 3/16in).

A top price for Maki Haku - as previously expected
The work Work, 74-58 (Stone-S) by Maki Haku was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 768.00 (€ 893.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Work, 74-58 (Stone-S) is the most expensive artwork by Maki Haku that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Work, 74-58 (Stone-S) von Maki Haku kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 768,00 (€ 893,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Work, 74-58 (Stone-S) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Maki Haku, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
