A set of five shikishiban woodblock prints: comprising POEM_1 (Mu), edition number 559/777; POEM_2 (Kokoro), edition number 559/777; POEM_5 (Onna), edition number 5/777; EN_1, edition number 5/777; and HALO_1, edition number 337/555, each signed in Roman script H.MAKI in pencil, the first four with a seal Maki Haku; together with a card holder. The smallest: 28.3cm x 28.3cm; the largest 28.6cm x 28.6cm (6).

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Maki Haku was auctioned at Bonhams in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 444.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maki Haku - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, 74-58 (Stone-S), which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 768.00 (€ 893.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Maki Haku kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 444,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Maki Haku mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work, 74-58 (Stone-S) beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 768,00 (€ 893,57) versteigert wurde.
