Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mahjoub Ben Bella was sold in the Le Paris du Monde Arabe auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mahjoub Ben Bella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mahjoub Ben Bella wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Le Paris du Monde Arabe bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mahjoub Ben Bella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.592,90).
