Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition, 1995 by Mahjoub Ben Bella was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mahjoub Ben Bella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,592.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition, 1995 von Mahjoub Ben Bella wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.936,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mahjoub Ben Bella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.592,90).
