In November 2014 Artcurial held the auction Moroccan Spirit: 1874-2014, which included the work Masque Fragmente, 2014 by Mahi Binebine. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,600.00 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mahi Binebine; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in July this year with the realized price of EUR 25,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Im November 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Moroccan Spirit: 1874-2014 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Masque Fragmente, 2014 von Mahi Binebine zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.600,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mahi Binebine; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 25.600,00.
