Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Bella Mi by Magdalena Abakanowicz. The »bidding war« ended at USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,134.49), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Magdalena Abakanowicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flock (12 Standing Figures, from 'Ragazzi' Cycle) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 480,500.00 (€ 403,849.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bella Mi von Magdalena Abakanowicz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.134,49) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Magdalena Abakanowicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flock (12 Standing Figures, from 'Ragazzi' Cycle) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 480.500,00 (€ 403.849,39).
