In May this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Composition with figures. by Madeleine Pyk. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 140,000.00 (€ 12,063.07), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Madeleine Pyk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Croquet, which sold at auction in October 2013 for SEK 310,000.00 (€ 35,802.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition with figures. von Madeleine Pyk zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 140.000,00 (€ 12.063,07) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Madeleine Pyk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Croquet beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für SEK 310.000,00 (€ 35.802,56) versteigert wurde.
