A top price for Mac Adams - as previously expected
The work Sans titre by Mac Adams was sold in the Un Certain Regard sur la Photographie auction at Christies in Paris in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 10,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans titre is the most expensive artwork by Mac Adams that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sans titre von Mac Adams wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Un Certain Regard sur la Photographie bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 9.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans titre das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mac Adams, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
