The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Ma Xulun was worth HKD 151,200.00 (€ 18,169.10) to a buyer in February this year. This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ma Xulun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Poetry Of The Tang Dynasty sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,941.70).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
