Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 11,863.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ma Wenting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On The Way - 2, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,547.21).
