A top price for Ma Wenting - as previously expected
The work On The Way - 2 by Ma Wenting was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,547.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, On The Way - 2 is the most expensive artwork by Ma Wenting that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit On The Way - 2 von Ma Wenting kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.547,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist On The Way - 2 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ma Wenting, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
