Sold at the upper estimate price
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dionysus 2(Painted In 2016) by Ma Ke. The auction ended at the price of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 72,558.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Correct Posture of Youth in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dionysus 2(Painted In 2016) von Ma Ke zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 72.558,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Correct Posture of Youth im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
