The work Two Horses by Ma Jin was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 11,326.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appreciating Horses In The Countryside in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).

Die Arbeit Two Horses von Ma Jin kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 11.326,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appreciating Horses In The Countryside im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
