This artwork by Lynn Bogue Hunt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. In the Sporting Art auction, the work American The Gleaners-Quail (Two Works) sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,063.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lynn Bogue Hunt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Prize-Winning Fish sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of USD 20,480.00 (€ 19,222.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lynn Bogue Hunt erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Sporting Art wurde die Arbeit American The Gleaners-Quail (Two Works) für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.063,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lynn Bogue Hunt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Prize-Winning Fish im Mai diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 20.480,00 (€ 19.222,83).
