This artwork by Lynn Bogue Hunt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. In the Sporting Art auction, the work American The Gleaners-Quail (Two Works) sold for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,063.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lynn Bogue Hunt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Prize-Winning Fish sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of USD 20,480.00 (€ 19,222.83).
