Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,106.21). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lynn Bogue Hunt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Prize-Winning Fish, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 20,480.00 (€ 19,222.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit American In The Corn Stabble-Quail (Two Works) von Lynn Bogue Hunt kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.106,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lynn Bogue Hunt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Prize-Winning Fish beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 20.480,00 (€ 19.222,83) versteigert wurde.
