Auction result well in line with expectations
The work YEARS by Luo Zhongli was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 4,260,000.00 (€ 486,434.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,500,000.00 – 5,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luo Zhongli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring Silkworms in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 49,400,000.00 (€ 4,683,668.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit YEARS von Luo Zhongli kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.260.000,00 (€ 486.434,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.500.000,00 – 5.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Zhongli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spring Silkworms im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.400.000,00 (€ 4.683.668,97).
