Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Birth Record by Luo Zhongli. It changed hands for a price of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 110,003.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 750,000.00 – 950,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Zhongli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Silkworms in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 49,400,000.00 (€ 4,683,668.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Birth Record von Luo Zhongli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 110.003,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 750.000,00 – 950.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhongli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Silkworms im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.400.000,00 (€ 4.683.668,97).
