Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Couplets Script by Luo Zhenyu. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,314.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Zhenyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplets Script von Luo Zhenyu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.314,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhenyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29).
