Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Luo Zhenyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,885.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luo Zhenyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,760.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luo Zhenyu erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.885,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhenyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.760,29) versteigert wurde.
