Luo started creating his Map series in 2000 and it was the artist’s first step into the exploration of creative themes. According to the artist,the origin of Map series was the intention “to find a solid plane that is both real and abstract.” The map from overlooking in the sky and the image of horizontal vision on the ground are considerably different.
