Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Bee Keeping by Luo Quanmu for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,875.59). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luo Quanmu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beekeeper, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 413,000.00 (€ 47,730.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bee Keeping von Luo Quanmu für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.875,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luo Quanmu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beekeeper beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 413.000,00 (€ 47.730,69) versteigert wurde.
