Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plants, Calligraphy by Luo Fukan was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,135.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Luo Fukan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couplet In Clerical Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 21,600.00 (€ 22,057.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plants, Calligraphy von Luo Fukan kam im Oktober 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.135,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luo Fukan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 22.057,83).
