A top price for Luo Fukan
This artwork by Luo Fukan achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Couplet In Clerical Script sold for HKD 21,600.00 (€ 22,057.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. This high result makes Couplet In Clerical Script the most expensive artwork by Luo Fukan that we have observed at auctions so far.
