This artwork by Luo Erchun achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in March 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Joyfulness Over Laterite sold for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 34,166.36) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Erchun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Visiting in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 5,310,000.00 (€ 602,506.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luo Erchun erzielte im März 2018 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Joyfulness Over Laterite für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 34.166,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 160.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Erchun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Visiting im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.310.000,00 (€ 602.506,23).
