The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,654.91), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Luis Jiménez Aranda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dancing Lesson in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 53,775.00 (€ 46,321.82).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.654,91) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Jiménez Aranda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dancing Lesson im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.775,00 (€ 46.321,82).
