Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Juanita para Navidad by Luís Fernando Benedit. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luís Fernando Benedit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Margaritas a los chanchos in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,351.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Juanita para Navidad von Luís Fernando Benedit zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luís Fernando Benedit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Margaritas a los chanchos im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.351,99).
